Boilerplate
LeoLog is a digital inventor's notebook that turns everyday notes, sketches, and files into independently verifiable proof of existence. Entries are encrypted on the inventor's own device, and a cryptographic fingerprint — never the content — is anchored to the Bitcoin and Base blockchains, producing a Certificate of Existence that anyone can verify without LeoLog's involvement. Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's codices, LeoLog is built by Mutagenic Labs, LLC. The first ten entries every month are free, forever, at leolog.io.

The story in one paragraph
Leonardo's codices are proof that the notebook itself can be the evidence. Modern invention moves through cloud drives and AI tools that no paper notebook can witness — and since WIPO sunset its PROOF service in 2022, there has been no neutral, sovereign-grade way to prove an idea existed on a date. LeoLog rebuilds that missing layer on public blockchains: private by architecture, verifiable by anyone, and quiet enough to use every day.
Naming and usage
"LeoLog" — capital L, capital L, one word. The certificate product is the "Certificate of Existence." Please don't describe LeoLog as a patent service, a legal service, or a guarantee of court admissibility — our own admissibility notes explain the honest framing, and we'd rather be described accurately than generously.
