About

A notebook worthy of the ideas inside it.

LeoLog is built on a five-hundred-year-old observation: Leonardo da Vinci's codices are among the most valuable notebooks ever kept, not only because of what they contain, but because they are a dated, continuous, verifiable record of one mind's work. We build that property for the modern inventor.

Why now

Invention has outrun the notebook. Ideas move through cloud drives, chat threads, CAD files, and AI tools faster than paper notebooks or provisional patents can witness them — and in 2022, WIPO PROOF, the UN agency's digital-evidence service, was quietly sunset, leaving a vacuum where sovereign-grade proof of existence used to live. LeoLog fills it with something no institution has to operate: public blockchains as the witness, mathematics as the notary, and a notebook you'd actually want to write in.

What we believe

Privacy is a precondition, not a feature. An inventor's notebook that its operator can read is a liability. LeoLog encrypts everything on your device; we hold ciphertext and anchor only fingerprints. Our security page spells out exactly what that means — including the trust that remains.

Proof must outlive the company. Every certificate verifies independently at verify.leolog.io or with any OpenTimestamps client. If LeoLog vanished tomorrow, every proof already anchored would still stand.

The blockchain is plumbing, not a product. No wallets, no gas, no seed phrases in your face. You write; anchoring happens quietly.

The company

LeoLog is a project of Mutagenic Labs, LLC, an independent product studio. It is founder-built and deliberately small: the same person who designed the cryptography answers the support email.
